Ancient Egypt Dioramas

Ancient Egyptian dioramas among others subjects include the great pyramids, mummification, the sphinx or a scene featuring the Nile.

Follow the below-mentioned steps to make yourself an Ancient Egypt dioramas

Start with finding a solid base for your diorama. A piece of wood or a shoe box approximately 1 foot long and six inches wide would be appropriate. Now cover the board with a thin coat of white glue then quickly sprinkle the sand on it. You have to get the sand on the glue before it hardens so work fast. This makes your Egyptian style sand base.

The simplest background could simply be colored paper — green for grass, blue for sky, brown for earth, blue for water, etc. Or be creative with patterned papers or design your own by drawing on clouds, rocks, etc. Measure and mark a few pieces of any colored construction paper, each 3 inches by 3 inches. Cut the squares out, and then roll each one into a cylinder.

Now arrange the cylinders to form the shape you wish to achieve.

Then, glue real sand onto the other side and use cardboard to make pyramids (paint them) and glue them onto the sand.
